Privacy policy
What Pali Fieldbook collects, why it is needed, and the controls available to you.
These policies apply to the Pali Fieldbook production service. Provider checkout terms and rights required by applicable law also apply.
Data Pali Fieldbook uses
- Account identity and session records when you sign in.
- Private Saved Places, Bucket notes, Logbook entries, and preferences you choose to sync.
- Minimum normalized purchase and entitlement facts needed to provide and recover access.
- Operational security events that exclude email bodies, tokens, precise location history, and raw provider payloads.
Providers and retention
Cloudflare hosts the application and database, Google may provide sign-in identity, Polar processes purchases as merchant of record, and Postmark delivers transactional account messages. Pali Fieldbook does not store Google ID tokens or payment card numbers. Transactional message content and delivery events may remain in Postmark Activity for up to 45 days under the configured provider retention period.
What stays on your device
Existing offline Fieldbook records are not silently uploaded. Only actions made after verified sign-in are mirrored. Historical import requires a separate, explicit review and confirmation.
Control and deletion
The account page provides a portable JSON export. Confirmed account deletion removes personal field records and sessions after required provider-side customer anonymization. Minimum de-identified transaction and audit references may remain when merchant, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal obligations require them.
